UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA

AREZZO ITALY

CAMPUS

Formerly a 13th-century monastery and palace, the University of Oklahoma Arezzo Italy study abroad site underwent extensive renovations and restorations to become a student housing and classroom facility.  In addition to the bedrooms and learning spaces, the building also features its own library, dining hall, and chapel. Original frescoes, plaster arches, and a curved stone staircase are just a few of the interior design highlights here.  Historic preservation combined with minimalist modern touches and technological updates create a truly unique aesthetic for the enjoyment of students and locals alike.
